The Power of Ritual

From the time we wake up until we go to bed, our day is filled with actions and words. We all have habitual things that we do and say. A lot of these are conscious but many are unconscious. Thoughts, whether conscious or unconscious, become the driving force of all our actions and words. Part of our personal evolution is to become more conscious in what we do and say by observing our thoughts. When we include ritual into our daily lives, they hopefully help us live in a more conscious and present state. Ritual requires devotion and as we grow in devotion we grow in love

In Ayurveda there are actions that we do every day to support us as we move through life. They are modified as we pass through the seasons of the year and the seasons of life. The intentional adjusting of the action keeps them from becoming unconscious habits. When infused with love they become life supporting rituals. These Ayurvedic daily rituals, known as Dinacharya, support our mind, sleep, immune system and overall well-being. Begin your day with a routine that physically, mentally and emotionally lays the foundation for everything to follow. In Ayurveda, Dinacharya is considered the ultimate preventive medicine.

Does growing devotion, fostering love and strengthening ritual practice sound good to you? Please join me this Sunday, January 13th from 12-3 at Moksha Ayurveda PHX as we explore the power of Dinacharya.
We will share delicious tea, education and expand our Ayurvedic community.
