Happy February My Sweet Friends

I hope you are finding your heart feeling full.

Last month I started to set the tone speaking on devotion and devotional practices. These are practices that point our hearts and minds inwards and upwards which is the direction that sattva guna moves.  We engage in these practices filling our hearts with love for the Divine seeing more of the Divine in others and also in ourselves.

Daily practices that we partake in will either bring us deeper into this sweetness or further into a place of discontent and a state of disconnect. So what are we to do? Well, this is where the Ayurvedic practices of Dinacharya or daily rituals come in. Creating space in your schedule to prepare your mind and body to be it's best as you go into the world.

Taking time to body brush and stimulate your lymphatic system which is directly related to your juiciness.  Covering yourself with warm oil and giving the issues in your tissues a nice massage. Oiling your nose and ears preparing all of your sense organs to receive the information that comes to us each day. Taking time to do our daily breathwork and meditation to balance and calm the mind.

When these practices are in place it is much easier to move through the day from a place of compassion, love, and grace. From the depth of my heart and the center of my being, I wish all of you love and blessings this sweetest month of February.

I hope you can join me this upcoming Sunday, February 18th from 12-3, as we learn how to apply Ayurvedic rituals, called Dinacharya, to our everyday lives. This workshop called From Resolutions to Rituals comes just 6 weeks into the new year when many of our resolutions are now broken. When we take a devotional approach to what we do every day these actions become a ritual. Please RSVP to register and space is limited.
Feel free to please contact me with any questions.
